2017 Vernon Grant Ornament

The Little Dickens Christmas ornament depicts the happy gnome carrying a present just in time for Christmas. Comes in a foil-stamped box with a provenance card.

These gold-plated ornaments depict the illustrations of famed illustrator Vernon Grant.  Grant (1903-1990) created many Santa Clauses and gnomes. Grant, also known for his creation of Snap! Crackle! Pop! characters for Rice Krispies Cereal lived here in Rock Hill, South Carolina. The Culture & Heritage Museums has been producing the annual ornament based on these illustrations since 1987.
